Here are the cards from my Holiday Fun class.  We started getting ready for the holidays with snowman, gingerbread, baking, and winter floral cards.  The stamp sets and products are from the Annual Catalog, Holiday Mini Catalog, and On-line Exclusives.  Recipes are included with each project and the supply details are listed at the end of this post.  Thanks for stopping by!

 

Card 1: Holiday Friends

These cards feature favorite winter friends—a snowman, santa and elf.  All of the stamps and die cut shapes were from the Festive Friends bundle.

 Here is the recipe:

  • Stamp Set: Festive Friends*

  • Dies: Festive Friends*

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock 5 ½ x 8 ½”

  • Pool Party cardstock ~4 ¼ x 2 ¾” to die cut large tag shape

  • Garden Green cardstock to die cut small tree

  • Granny Apple Green cardstock to die cut tall tree

  • Basic White cardstock to stamp and die cut snowman/elf/santa

  • Traditional Sparkling Sequins

  • Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, Garden Green Classic Ink

 Card 2: Gingerbread Cookie

I just love these gingerbread cookies!  The Gingerbread Man bundle has all of the stamps and die cuts to create these adorable cards.  It includes a large gingerbread die of 2 connected gingerbread men shapes to fold for a cute card or tag.  There are even multiple faces to choose from. And the hat, scarf and holiday candy make them even more festive.  

 Tips:

  • Die cut the gingerbread shape first

  • Then stamp the gingerbread image.  It is a photopolymer stamp so you can easily place it within the die cut shape. 

  • When you ink the gingerbread stamp, tap the ink pad on the stamp instead of tapping the stamp on the ink pad because the image is so large.

  • Soft Sea Foam cardstock 4 ¼ x 5 ½”

  • Pecan Pie cardstock 7 x 5 ½” to die cut gingerbread

  • Flirty Flamingo or Shaded Spruce cardstock to die cut hat and scarf

  • Real Red cardstock to die cut lollipop and candy cane

  • Basic White cardstock to die cut lollipop and candy cane

  • Forever Plaid embossing folder

  • Traditional Sparkling Sequins

Card 3: Baking Cookies

This card reminds me of our annual tradition of baking lots of gingerbread cookies.  Then we get together with family and friends to decorate them.  It’s always fun to see how creative everyone is.  The Homemade Treats bundle was used to create this card.  It has additional cute images and corresponding dies that we didn’t get to use on this card such as dough with cut-out shapes, a rolling pin and an icing bag.

 Here is the recipe:

  • Basic Beige cardstock 8 ½ x 5 ½”, scored at 2 1/8” and 6 3/8”

  • Basic White cardstock 2 ¾ x 3 ½” plus piece to stamp and die cut cookies and oven mitt

  • Early Espresso cardstock 3 x 3 ¾”

  • Traditions of Christmas DSP or Christmas Tags & More DSP

  • Gold Foil

Card 4: Winter Floral

This simple card showcases the pretty Traditions of Christmas DSP which has gold accents.  The various colors of cardstock used in this card were selected because they coordinate with the colors used in the DSP.  The sentiment and banner are from the Traditional Labels bundle.
