Sending Love - Stamped With Aloha June Inspiration Night
Norine Oyasato and I assisted Cindy with June's Stamped With Aloha Inspiration Night projects. With Cindy's help, we decided to feature the Whole Lot of Lovely suite, including the Lots of Love stamp set and coordinating Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. The cards were made using whisper white notecards as the base and each card has rhinestones. We hope you enjoy June's Inspiration Night!

Card #3: Consider Yourself Hugged
To create the kokeishi, start with the face. It is punched from Powder Pink using the lemon punch. For the hair, punch 1/2 of the lemon shape and 2 circles of 3/4" from Basic Black. Cut notches in the bangs using snips. Attach the bangs and a bun on each side. Decorate her hair with flowers.
Draw a face. Add cheeks by using the eraser at the end of a wooden pencil stamped with Powder Pink.
For the body, use the lemon shape to punch her kimono from designer paper. Cut a v for her kimono in one end of the lemon shape. Punch a 3/4" circle from Powder Pink and attach it behind the kimono to fill the v shape.
Attach the head and body. I angled her head slightly.
Cut the bottom edge of the kimono, I also angled the edge slightly.
Stamp the sentiment on a 1 3/4" smoky slate circle.
Assemble the rest of the card. Attach the kokeishi to the background using dimensionals.
