Love you Lots Cards
Here are some new critters in the new hostess set Love You Lots from the 2016 Annual Catalog. These three cards were also the make and takes at my new catalog open house on June 5th. Simple and easy, especially because I used crumb cake note cards--note cards with matching envelopes that come in a pack of 20. The elephant and mouse is my favorite, I think. Or maybe the hedgehogs... All of the supplies used to make the cards are listed at the end of this post.
The elephant card uses one of the new in-colors for 2016, dapper denim. The elephant and mouse are stamped in tuxedo black memento ink. The balloon is from the set Balloon Builders and I drew in the string using the Project Life Journaling Pen size 01 point. The Happy Birthday is from the Party with Cake set. It'a simple graphic card that you can make quickly.
The hedgehogs are stamped in tuxedo black memento ink and colored in with crumb cake using a sponge dauber. The polka dots in the background were also made using the sponge dauber with crumb cake. The colors framing the image are two more new in-colors, Emerald Envy and Sweet Sugarplum. The same colors in markers were used to color the flower and leaf.
And finally, two cute ladybugs stamped in tuxedo black memento ink featuring the new in-color Flirty Flamingo. The background polka dots are from the stamp set Sunburst Sayings. The 1 3/4" circle punch was used to punch the image and the flower medallion punched from Basic Black highlights it.
