Mini Cards - Lots of Joy

Here are the 3x3" cards that made up the other half of the Ho Ho Ho Holidays class.  We made 3 each of 4 different card designs and packaged each set of 4 with the envelopes in a tea bag holder.  All of the stamped images were from the Lots of Joy stamp set.  Featured colors are cherry cobbler, mossy meadow, old olive, smoky slate and whisper white.  Perfect stamped gifts for your family and friends.

 

     

For the card holder, it is made from 6x6" designer paper.  The Merry Moments designer paper stack of 6x6" paper was perfect for this purpose.  You can also use 12x12" designer paper to make 4 holders.   Using the diagonal scoring plate that is placed on the Stampin' score, the designer paper was scored at 1/2" from the center on each side, then rotated 90 degrees and scored at 2-1/2" inch on each side.

 

 After scoring, fold on the 2-1/2" score marks.  I wanted the polka dots on the outside, so I folded the ends so that the dots remained on the outside.

Then fold on the 2 perpendicular scorelines towards the unfolded side.  

Match the points and punch a hole (1/8" circle) at the top.  Then thread cord through and it will hold the paper together.  No gluing is needed.  Fill the pockets with the cards, 2 cards and envelopes on each side.
