The Stamping Owl

To celebrate the new catalog, I created these simple cards using basic white notecards featuring 4 of the 5 new In Colors.  The layouts use the same base with some variation in placement of the accent strip and sentiment.  All images are from the WITH YOU IN MIND photopolymer stamp set.   These will also be the make and take cards for my open house on Saturday.  Below are the recipes for each card and the supply details are listed at the end of this post.  Thanks for stopping by!

Card 1: Birthday Cupcakes

Enjoy these Strawberry Slush cupcakes.  I couldn’t resist stamping a face on the middle cupcake.  The background was embossed using the So Swirly embossing folder because it reminded me of frosting.

Here is the recipe:

• Stamp Set: With You In Mind, Bee My Valentine (for the smiley face)
• Basic White notecard with envelope
• Strawberry Slush cardstock 4 ¾ x 3 ¼”
• Early Espresso cardstock 5 x 1 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock 3 ¼ x 2 ½”
• Basic Rhinestone – small or medium
• Classic Ink Pads: Strawberry Slush, Early Espresso
• So Swirly embossing folder

Card 2:  Floral Thanks

These flowers stamped in Darling Duckling ink are so cheerful and warm.  They would look great in other colors too.

Here is the recipe:

• Stamp Set: With You In Mind
• Basic White notecard with envelope
• Darling Duckling cardstock 4 ¾ x 3 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock 5 x 1 ¾”
• Crumb Cake cardstock used for Modern Oval
• Basic Rhinestone – small or medium
• Classic Ink Pads: Darling Duckling, Early Espresso
• Modern Oval punch

Card 3: Best Wishes

Another card that can easily be interchanged with other colors.  The stamp set also has hearts that could be used instead.

• Cloud Cover cardstock 4 ¾ x 3 ¼”
• Secret Sea cardstock 5 x 1 ¼”
• Basic White cardstock used for Modern Oval
