Here are the cards from my Cool Treats stamp and go class. They feature new products from the mini catalog--furry spring friends and frozen treats. Recipes are included with each project and the supply details are listed at the end of this post. Thanks for stopping by!
Card 1: Little Lamb
As a kid, I remember reading Little Golden Books. These books had gold with designs on the left edge and spine. That was the feel I was trying to achieve with this card. The DSP with the gold scrollwork is from the Ornate Garden DSP. The sweet little lamb has flowers that fit the large and medium sized flowers from the Confetti Flowers Border punch. So I punched these flowers out of real red and flirty flamingo cardstock and attached them to the garland. This is a very versatile card that can be used for many occasions—baby, birthday, spring, Easter and more.

- Whisper White cardstock 2 ¾ x 2 ¼”
- Real Red and Flirty Flamingo cardstock for flowers

Card 2: Bunny and Flowers
The design of this card was inspired by Cindy Baughman. She gave me a fall card using DSP that was folded this way. The base of the card is cardstock measuring 4 ¼ x 5 ½”. A 4 x 11” piece of DSP scored at 3 ¼” and 8 ½”, folded at score marks was attached to it using the 4 x 5 ¼” side. The 3 ¼” flap is the top flap. The Ornate Garden DSP has gold accents on many of the pieces so it gives the card a warm glow. See the opened and closed versions of the cards below.
A piece of 1 x 4” DSP was attached to the edge of the top flap, then the framed image with the bunny, flowers and sentiment was attached to it using dimensionals on the top half. The bunny was stamped on whisper white cardstock, cut out with snips and attached with dimensionals. The sentiment can also be swapped out for Easter or Spring.

- Ornate Garden Specialty DSP 4 x 11”, scored at 3 ¼” and 8 ½”

Card 3: Triple Scoop Ice Cream Cone
The colors used on the ice-cream scoops on this card were based on the colors on the Ice Cream Corner DSP, which was used for the background. The Ice Cream Builder punch was used to punch out each scoop plus the cone. Wink of stella was colored on the sparkles for some shine.

Card 4: Cool Treats
This card features the ice cream cones and ice cream bars from the Ice Cream Corner DSP. For the one on the right, I used the layout from the mini catalog on page 48 as my inspiration. The polka dots were made with the eraser tip of a wood pencil stamped using Blackberry Bliss ink. I modified the size of the DSP and background so that no DSP was wasted. The other card layout is more traditional and lined up—all of the paper sizes are the same. The Triple Banner punch was used to punch the ends of the whisper white cardstock with the sentiment. The cool treats on the DSP were colored with Wink of Stella to add shimmer
