The Stamping Owl

This month’s class was all about blooms!  We used many retiring products –available until June 3^rd or while supplies last—to create 3 floral cards and one final appearance of that cute racoon made using the fox builder punch.  Recipes are included with each project and the supply details are listed at the end of this post.  Thanks for stopping by!

Card 1: Wedding Floral

This card features the All My Love designer series paper and Better Together stamp set.  This simple layout works well with any designer series paper or sentiments that you may have.  I also used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment on the whisper white cardstock so that it was straight and centered.

• Lovely Lipstick cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" (retiring)
• Whisper White cardstock 2 3/4 x 1 1/2"
• Grapefruit Grove Foil 3 x 1 3/4”

Card 2: Flower Panel Card

This card is scored at 2 1/8” from each end so that it folds towards the center and opens like a French door.  The flower and sentiment are attached with dimensionals only to the left side of the card.  The featured designer series paper is Happiness Blooms.

• Calypso Coral cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 ½”, scored at 2 1/8” from each edge
• Night of Navy cardstock 2 3/4 x 4 1/4"

• Calypso Coral, Call Me Clover, Night of Navy, Petal Pink Classic Ink

Card 3: Daisy with Pocket

This card also features the Happiness Blooms designer series paper.  The center is cut from the front piece using the Layering Circles framelits 2 5/8” circle size.  Then the underlying Call Me Clover cardstock can be seen.  A punched daisy and with 3/4” circle was attached to the center of the cutout circle.  This is also a pocket card, the cardstock base is 4 1/4” x 11” and scored at 4 1/4" and 9 1/4".  The 9 1/4" fold creates a 1 3/4” pocket.  I recommend using tear and tape to attach the pocket so that it is more secure.

Card 4: Raccoon

Here is a cute raccoon card made using the Foxy Friends stamp set and Fox Builder punch, which are retiring.  We’ve made many cute things with these—foxes, girls with flippy hairdos, rabbits and of course raccoons.  The bow on the fox was made using the Cookie Cutter Builder punch.
