Here are the cards that we made in class this month. Going along with the theme, we made a neighborhood card and camper card. Then some friendly little pigs that you may want for a pet.
Card #1: Happy Camper
This card features the stamp set Glamper Greetings. The card photo shows a halloween version but the set has images for many ocassions - birthday, fall, Christmas and everyday too. It was stamped in Basic Black archival ink (permanent) then colored pencils and blender pens were used to color the camper.
Card #2: In the Neighborhood
The images in this card are from In the City, a hostess stamp set. There are all kinds of buildings, cars, trucks and other items that you would see in the city. It's a photopolymer set that uses 2 step stamping--there is a stamp for the outline and a corresponding stamp to fill in the image. For the houses that we used in this set, we lined up the outline version of the individual houses on a single block and stamped the image in crumb cake. Then each house was colored in with its corresponding stamp for a colorful neighborhood.
Card #3: Hogs & Kisses
This cute little pig is from This Little Piggy stamp set. He was stamped then cut out from crumb cake. To get him a little muddy, I used a sponge dauber to rub him with soft suede. Then a final detail was the little kisses stamped in cherry cobbler. So cute!
Card #4: Happy Day Pig
Another cute pig from the This Little Piggy stamp set. This time, it was stamped in Basic Black archival ink (permanent) and colored with aqua painters using classic ink colors. The colors make it bright and fun--Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig. The little pig will make you smile.
Hope that you enjoyed September's class!
